Nala is a 100% handmade rug melding high and low pile. Traditional monochromatic tribal designs inspire this pared-back pattern. It brings texture and warmth to contemporary spaces.
Australian natives and Armadillo & Co-founders Jodie and Sally met in 2007 and were inspired to create elegant simplicity and quality rugs which they could not find for their own homes. Jodie's background in film production took her to India for Bollywood films during the 2001 earthquake, and she spent time rebuilding villages in devastated areas. Sally has strong ties with communities of weavers and artisans and is committed to social responsibility and giving back. Armadillo & Co products are 100% handmade, using Fair Trade practices with natural and sustainable fibers.

- Rug Care: Rugs carry a rich history of ancient craftsmanship. To preserve their beauty and prolong their life, follow these suggestions for rug care. Vacuum regularly. Rotate rugs from end to end or place them in different parts of the house to share the wear. Direct sunlight and heat sources, such as gas heaters and fireplaces, can cause the natural fibers to dry out and fade. Position your rug away from both. Every few months, turn your rug over and place it in the sun for an hour. Vacuum the back of your rug before repositioning.
